Elegant Jewish Wedding at Rancho Valencia
Kimberley & Kyle’s Jewish Wedding at Rancho Valencia
Kimberley and Kyle’s wedding at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa was a beautiful balance of tradition, elevated design, and high-energy celebration. Set at one of the most iconic luxury wedding venues in San Diego, their day unfolded with intention—from a deeply meaningful Jewish ceremony to an unforgettable Moroccan-inspired after party.
Planned and designed by Alison Rose Events, every detail honored heritage while embracing a modern Southern California aesthetic.
A Refined Rancho Valencia Wedding Design
Rancho Valencia provided the perfect backdrop for Kimberley and Kyle’s celebration. With its lush gardens, Mediterranean architecture, and golden California light, the venue embodied quiet luxury at its finest. The design leaned into natural textures, warm wood tones, and soft neutrals—creating an environment that felt timeless, editorial, and effortlessly elegant.
Long tables beneath wooden pergolas, layered linens, and thoughtful rentals set the tone for an intimate yet elevated celebration.
A Meaningful Jewish Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony honored Jewish wedding traditions in a way that felt both reverent and modern. Guests gathered on the lawn as a lush floral chuppah—designed by Brit Floral Design—framed the space with greenery and white blooms, grounding the ceremony in natural beauty.
Live ceremony music by Second Song added emotional depth to each moment, creating an atmosphere that felt sacred, joyful, and deeply communal. Every ritual was met with intention, highlighting the importance of tradition while allowing space for genuine emotion.
It was a joy to document this ceremony alongside Kim Alvarado Films. Together we captured not only how it looked, but how it felt—the connection, the joy, and the shared history woven throughout the day.
Editorial Wedding Photography in San Diego
From a photography perspective, Kimberley and Kyle’s wedding was rich with unposed, meaningful moments. My approach focused on capturing the day in an editorial yet documentary way—honest, refined, and emotionally driven.
Kimberley’s bridal look was timeless and polished, with hair and makeup by Kissed by AML that perfectly complemented the overall design. Portraits felt effortless, intimate, and true to the couple.
Elevated Reception & Live Entertainment
As the sun set, the celebration transitioned seamlessly into the reception. Rentals from Found Rentals and Adore Folklore added warmth and texture, while Lotus Event Pros transformed the space with custom staging, draping, and string lighting.
Music by Second Song carried the evening from heartfelt moments into full celebration. Their live band experience, Blitz Nation, kept the dance floor packed and the energy high well into the night.
A Moroccan-Inspired After Party
The celebration concluded with a Moroccan-inspired after party that shifted the mood entirely. Rich red tones, layered textiles, lounge seating, and moody lighting created an intimate, transportive atmosphere—bold, playful, and undeniably chic.
With an after-party DJ set by Eli Afolabi (Eli Fola), guests danced late into the night, closing out the wedding with a vibrant and unforgettable finale.
Finishing Touches
The wedding cake by Hey There Cupcake was both elegant and inviting, while custom invitations by Salt and Paper Press set the tone from the very beginning—hinting at the thoughtful, design-forward celebration to come.
A Timeless Southern California Wedding
Kimberley and Kyle’s Rancho Valencia wedding was a true reflection of modern luxury—grounded in tradition, elevated through design, and brought to life by an exceptional creative team.
For couples planning a Jewish wedding at Rancho Valencia, a luxury San Diego wedding, or an elevated Southern California celebration, this day is a beautiful example of what’s possible when meaning and artistry come together.
